WORK HISTORY:

Currently working on a collection of costumes for a project entitles SWEETS TREATS in which models are costumed to compliment old fashioned sweets. Project due to be finished in late November. It will be used for promotional materials and a hard cover children's book.

Jan 07 - Mar 07 Fairy Tales and Wonderlands Lorna FREYTAG London. Working again with Lorna, I was asked to produce a series of costumes with definite themes which included Alice in Wonderland characters; Alice, the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Playing Cards. Photographs were used as part of ongoing portfolio production.
June 2006 Llantwit Major Victorian Fair
A 9 day event in which I supplied over 700 costumes in the Victorian themes to the fairs committee, local dignitaries, the general public and trades people.

Provided tailored Victorian themed costumes for a private event held in London.
Mar 06 - Jan 07 Endemol – Celebrity Big Brother 2007
Creation of themed costumes for Celebrity Big Brother 2007 - these included full Victorian attire and servants outfits. This was a very demanding and time consuming project where design, sizing and fabric management was all completed within a very tight timeframe.
Celebrities included: Jade Goody, Carol Mallone, Cleo Roccos, Danielle Lloyd, Dirk Benedict, Ian H Watkins, Jo O’Meara & Leo Sayer.
March 06 Runaway Bride DR WHO BBC
Provided two costumes for the BBC’s production of Dr Who Christmas special 2006/07. Costumes were white “bridal style”. Also provide two extras costumes of civilian wear.

Mrs. Peacocks Peculiar Circus
Working together with Lorna Siegel, a London based photographer. After initial meeting I produced a series of costumes for her project entitled “Mrs. Peacocks Peculiar Circus”. This work centered on the Circus performers of the late 20th century. The work was completed on time and to budget and has recently had success touring small galleries and exhibitions in and around London. The collection will possibly be made in to a coffee table book and other merchandise.

www.victoriancostume.co.uk was launched in February 2003 with the main purpose of producing a range of Victorian Costumes for an annual 2 day event. Over the course of 3 years the collection grew to over 1400 individual costumes, both handmade and authentically sourced.
The website became the leading Victorian costumer provider in the UK rating highest in all internet search engines including Google. Orders were taken over the telephone, through email requests via the website and face-to-face fittings.
The business was sold to a private buyer in 2007
