About Andrew
Andrew Carragon is a professional Costume Designer & Creative Director. Working for film and television; theatres and the private sector. He has over 8 years experience working through every aspect of the costumier’s role.
Andrews' training has been more unconventional than most in this industry. By being trained by a family who have been in the costume & tailoring industry for more than 200 years has allowed Andrew to gain wealth of knowledge and capabilities not available to the majority.
Most famously Andrews’ two great Aunts; The Bailey Sisters of Richmond Hill. Owned and operated a dolls costumiers in one of London’s most fashionable districts. Their renowned skills for miniature detailing and precision earned them notoriety in a book based on London’s most intriguing people. These skills past on not only prove to enhance work done by Andrew but also ensure these skills are not lost.
Andrew has recently finished productions with Endamol for Big Brother, BBC for Dr Who, Lorna Siegel for “Peacocks Peculiar Circus” and Anthony Smiths new commission for Christ's College Cambridge entitled “DARWIN”.

News
My new project entitled "Cirque Diabolique" will start in June 2008 and hopefully be complete in late July. The series will centre on the theme of a travelling Circus in the early 20th century. I will be including characters not seen in previous works such as "Mrs Peacocks Peculiar Circus". I will be including The Bearded Lady, Dog Faced Boy, A Spider Woman, A variation on the Siamese Twins & others.
This will hopefully be an exciting project with a photographer still too be assigned and an opening for a make up and hair team.
